Bas Scheijde (aka Acied) has spent a bit of time working on a Commodore 64 port of Puzzle Bobble and it looks like a release of the full version is imminent.
Acied has just released a Youtube video showing the v0.99 of the game in action and I think we can agree that it is looking like a very faithful port. The game will be made available for free shortly.
