Summary
Mach Baron’s bright and vibrant graphical style is attractive and there is a good amount of variation within the screens, enticing to try and see more with each time you play.
However, the game play on offer is a pretty basic jump, run and shoot affair. Difficulty setting is set to slightly high as you don’t have much time to learn the enemy patterns and you are constantly on the move and with jump controls being sluggish, making diagonal leaps trickier than they need to be.
The game is on the short side, less than 10 minutes, though getting through to the final boss battle is going to take many attempts and likely to have you get a bit of mileage from the game overall. I enjoyed my time with Mach Baron and appreciated that it delivers an above average gaming experience.
